If you landed on this page because you thought it would show you how to actually see who has viewed your Facebook profile, please keep reading. It is not, in any way, ever, possible to see who has viewed your Facebook profile. I promise! Every Facebook user would love to see who has been checking up on them so scams like this are very popular and have been around for a long time. People think because sites like LinkedIn offer this feature, there must be a way to get this done on Facebook, maybe through a hack, a plugin, an extension or by downloading a small application that can somehow connect to a hidden backdoor in Facebook… there isn’t. Facebook just isn’t designed that way. “But my friend posted on their Facebook that they did and they were very excited about it!” Sorry, that was not your friend posting that message. Your friend probably fell for one of the many scams out there and got his browser or computer infected with a trojan that is now posting messages like that on his Facebook wall without him knowing (and possibly stealing data in the process). With that said, i found one that actually works but it is tricky to set up. You can get it here.
I can’t believe you clicked on it. Actually i can believe it, i’m just disappointed. Again: It is not, in any way, ever, possible to see who has viewed your Facebook profile. Once you fall for one of these scams you’ll be asked to download a file, the file will download automatically or you are virtually violated through a Java exploit. While i have not seen this type of scam affecting Mac users yet there is a big chance the creators of these scams will focus their attention on the Mac users as market share grows. If you weren’t already, now you are prepared for when that day comes 🙂
